Malawian boxer, Charles Misanjo, has left the country for South Africa for a non-title bout against unbeaten Nicholas Radley at Wynberg Military Base in Cape Town this Friday.
Misanjo has left the country together with his Zimbabwean trainer Clyde Musonda, who works at Delta Force Boxing Academy.
The Rainbow nation’s Radley has so far registered a 100% record, with seven wins; including six knockouts.
Radley has taken a backward step in boxing categories, from light heavyweight to super middleweight.
As per a report by a local Newspaper, Misanjo said: “I know that the fight will be tough but I am unfazed. I have been offered some tips which can help me to surprise my opponent. He might be undefeated but he doesn’t have the experience to match me throughout the contest.”
The 31-year-old’s trainer says Misanjo is experienced, and hopes he will carry the day on Friday.
He told the Paper that: “I think Misanjo has also moved to a bigger weight division where he dominated and won the super middleweight national title. He will be comfortable and will certainly use his experience to stun Radley.”
