Ntopwa FC owner, Isaac Jomo Osman, has reiterated that his team is geared up for this year’s TNM Super League season, a week after saying the same before being gifted the spot in the League.
Last week, the team got the nod from Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves’ sponsors, Nyasa Manufacturing Company, to take their team’s Super League place after winning the Chitetezo Mbaula Southern Region Football Association League (SRFA), in which Bullets won it with their superior goal difference after getting tied with Ntopwa at 96 points.
Jomo told a local Newspaper that: “We have developmental teams ranging from the under-12 age group to the main side. I can also confidently state here that we will be the only Super League club with a ladies’ football team. We also have a coach with Caf B Licence; so everything is on track.”
The Paper also indicated that: “He said Ntopwa were not taken by surprise after Bullets offered them the top flight league slot.
“Osman also disclosed that Football Association of Malawi had tipped them on how to start working on Club Licensing requirements to avoid being caught off-guard.”
This means that the BB Reserves side will get back to the SRFA League next season.
