Junior Flames have today had their first preparations ahead of 2019 under 23 AFCON qualifier match against Botswana in Gaborone at a stadium opened by late president Bingu Wa Mutharika.

The team traveled to Botswana yesterday at 10 am at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in Blantyre ahead of their first qualifier match, with TN Stars coach Meke Mwase.

Gaborone Stadium was opened by late Bingu Wa Mutharika on 5th April, 2011.

Meanwhile as per Football Association of Malawi Page, Flames senior team is in Comoros Islands for tomorrows AFCON qualifier match, and forwards Chiukepo Msowoya and Richard Mbulu have promised to do well in the game at Stade de Maroni.
