Kenyan side, Gor Mahia, has announced that their English coach Dylan Kerr, has resigned from his post in search of greener pastures.

The 51-year-old coach led the team to last year’s CAF Champions League up to the group stages.

According to his resignation letter dated 15 November, 2018, he wrote that he is vying for another job and thanked the players for their positive performance in the just ending season.

“With a very sad heart, l have decided to accept another coaching role for the 2018/19 season.

“To players, all l can say is a thank you for being amazing – everyone played their part with fun, enthusiasm, hard work and most of all belief in what l demanded for both on and off the field. I hope you continue having the vision l constantly told you and always remember no regrets,” he wrote.

He has only been with the ‘K’Ogalo’ for 16 months and helped them win successive league titles in 2017 and in the just ended 2018 season.

The development seems to be positive for Nyasa Big Bullets having been drawn against them on 27 November, 2018 in the preliminary round of CAF Champions League.

Meanwhile, Bullets are in Tanzania, playing friendly games in preparations for the game against the K’Ogalo, and have played their first game yesterday against JKU which ended in 0-0 and will today play Simba FC.

On the other hand, the opponents, Mahia, were last week hammered by 4 goals to nil by English Premier League side, Everton at Goodison Park under Kerr.

As of now preparations for the game against Bullets have stalled and rumours indicate that they have not been paid their October salary among other concerns.
