The team has left through Chileka Airport, and will stop in Ethiopia to pick Mozambique based Charles Swini and Frank Banda, who play for this year’s league Champions UD Songo.
The team has been in camp for about a week now and played training matches severally with the under-23 team, which has also trained for a week, and will play Comoros on Saturday, 17 November, 2018.
Meanwhile, defender Yamikani Fodya, has been spotted on Bible Society Facebook post handling a bible bought from their shop, before departure.
The post indicates that the sales lady for the shop, who also posed with him after he purchased the bible, asked him the reason for his regular bible purchases in which he cited the bible as his weapon.
“The Bible is my weapon and I cannot live without it,” he said.
The post further indicates that he continued to say that the Bible is too cheap comparing to other things that people value most like phones, that’s why he always wants a new Bible.
