Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United future is not clear yet despite coming from 2 goals down to beat Newcastle United 3-2 last weekend at Old Trafford.
Mourinho has recently been criticised as a scapegoat for United’s poor form this season, seating 8 with 13 points after 8 games into the season.
The problems seem to have started when United board refused to invest more in this season’s summer transfer window, leaving Mourinho frustrated.
United started the season with a win but failed to maintain the winning start in the following matches, leading to more frustrations capitalised by feuds, the recent one being Mourinho-Pogba feud.
The feud between Mourinho and midfielder Paul Pogba falls under defensive approach in games by the manager, which Pogba has publicly criticised, demanding more of attacking football.
Former Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane has recently been linked to replace under fire Mourinho for the managerial job at Man UTD.
However, with United’s last week win over Newcastle United, rumors of Mourinho’s sack, for Zidane as a replacement, dwindled and now it seems Bayern Munich could snatch him away from United’ nose to replace Niko Kovac as per the Mirror.
Meanwhile, the Sun report indicates that Mourinho will have clear the air talks with club vice chairman Ed Woodward in the next 2 days.
