Football matches and events organizers will have to deep more in their pockets to access the newly rehabilitated Kamuzu Stadium.
Government has raised booking fees for the facility with immediate effect.
According to a circular, a cup final between Nyasa Big Bullets and Be Forward Wanderers will cost organizers K5 million. While a TNM Super league derby between Bullets and Wanderers will cost K4 million at the facility. But matches between Bullets or Wanderers against other teams will cost organizers K3 million. While for league games between other teams, Sulom will pay K500 000.
Private schools will pay K30 000 while public schools pay K15 000 to access the stadium.
Meanwhile, government has invited stadium’s stakeholders to a meeting today.
