The long awaited bout between Bright Mdoka and Alick Mwenda has been slated to take place on March 25 at M1 Centre point in capital city Lilongwe.
Frank Chibisa second vice President for Malawi Boxing Professional Control Board (MBPCB) said the bout was initially scheduled to take place on April 1 but because there is FAM Bonanza on the same date hence it has been shifted the date to March 25.
“Our initial programme for the bout was to take place on April 1 but we have shifted to another date to give Football Association of Malawi (FAM) an opportunity to hold their Bonanza,” he said.
