chairperson for Be-forward Wanderers has said he can be more than happy if tnm can be doubled the prize money for the super league champions to K30million from current K15 million.
He was reacting from the complain by their archrivals Nyasa Big Bullets chairperson Noel Lipipa who said that the current prize money is a peanut compared to the expresses.
“We cannot blame them. If they can pull out who can rescue us. We just urged other companies to combine with tnm so that the league can be much competitive,” he said.
Mkandawire said players cannot put much effort and hardworking when the money is not enough.
“When there are enough money pumped in players can be more committed and can be encourage to work extra hard,” said Nomads Boss.
He said in Malawi there are best players but because of money they don’t show their skills and talent fully.
Mkandawire said money is not enough but companies should increase the prize money.
“Teams can put much effort together with their players if the prize can be doubled,” he said.
Tnm currently is giving the champions K25 million which clubs in the country are not happy with.
