Wanderers to bounce back on cups-Mapemba

Former Vice Chairperson of Befoward Maxwell Mapemba said despite failing to grab any cup this season Lali Luban (Wanderers club house) will is optimistic that their team will bounce back to top flight and grab cups next season.

He said the team has not do better in all three cups (Carlsberg cup, Airtel top 8 and FISD cup) because of feeling being cup specialists might have gone to their heads for both coaching panel and players realisisng on dismissal performance.

“But I believe that wanderers will bounce back next season to top flight, he said

Wanderers former boss Mapemba also said he is optimistic that nomads (Nyerere) will grab tnm super league this season as there are on the summit of the league.

Wanderers failed ti win Carlsberg cup after losing to their domestic archrivals Big Bullets 5-4 in post-match penalties and failed to snatch Airtel top 8 after being beaten by silver strikers and knocked out in early stages in FISD cup by Moyale Barracks 2-0.

“There is no problem in Nomads camp but our lucky has been run out from our team,” he said, adding that Wanderers has been runners-up in two cups-Carlsberg and Airtel cup top 8.

This season Wanderers has assembled the best players such as Jaffali chande, Joseph Kamwendo, Peter Wadabwa, Lucky Malata, Isaac Kaliati, Alfred Manyozo Junior, Esau Kanyenda, Stanley Sanudi and Jabulani Linje.
