The most ‘sought-after’ Blantyre derby is hatched. Nyasa Big Bullets will this Sunday, host Mighty Be Forward at the Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
The TNM Super league clash between the two big guns was cancelled at the eleventh hour due to the demise of George Chamangwana, who, until his death, was the latter’s chairman.
Football lovers are expected to troop to the 60,000-seater magnificent facility to witness this mouth-watering encounter.
Nevertheless, memories are still of the stampede that occurred at the venue during this year’s independence celebrations, where a few people died, with others sustaining injuries.
Meanwhile, Sulom is reportedly planning to hire a record 250 police officers so as to tighten security during the match.
As the Sunday is drawing closer, all eyes will be on this episode of the ‘Blantyre derby’ to be played in the Capital City.
