Gabadinho Mhango continues to sail on wings of success, first being nominated and chosen by Airtel Malawi as their brand ambassador before the Chinese fashion giants “Shanghai Tang” took a step in signing him a fashion brand deal.
The $10 million injection will make a huge dent into Mhango’s personal fortune, according to soccer publication Kick-Off, which ranked him as the most local promising player this year.
Mhango explains the fashion idea first came about during a casual conversation with the a chinese fashion company in South Africa.
“In my opinion, I could not resist the deal and become first Malawian to sign fashion deal,” Mhango said.
Indeed, the young Malawian footballer is confident his lebel will stand out in an industry facing serious disruption in South Africa and whole world.
