Flames back home today with no goal

Malawi national football team (Flames) is expected to come back today from  a disappointing showcase at  Cosafa tournament being held in South Africa after being out since  they  were not seeing a goal post to score throughout.

Despite Many negatives have been said, but the Flames coach, Ronny van Geneugden said he is proud of his boys.

“I am happy with the boys. We are now defending,” he told Supersport television during post match interview of match against Angola.

Flames have played three games, lost to Tanzania 2-0, held a draw to Mauritius and Angola.

The man of the match awards went to Nyasa Big Bullets forward Dalitso Sailesi got against Mauritius and his club mate goalkeeper Ernest Kakhobwe for keeping Angola not to score any goal.

Both award winners did not speak English after being interviewed by South African reporters which depict as being patriotic for mother tongue ‘Chichewa Language’.
