Sky Band won Blantyre Roundtable golf tournament held at Limbe Country Club which aims at raising money to help people with cervical cancer and the needy.
Chairman for Roundtable in Malawi Ibrahim Mojoo said Round-table which is an charitable organization started many years in UK aimed at donating various items and goods to venerable people and those affected by floods.
“The main aim of round-table is to assist needy people. We donated various items to Nsanje and Chikwawa during the floods,” he said.
He said the tournament is annual event and they hold different activities to fundraising money.
Projects officer for round-table Spencer Mwandmanga applauded the golfer for overwhelming response to the tournament.
“We have round table 20 in Blantyre, Round-table 32 in Lilongwe and round-table 69 in Dwangwa to raise funds to donate to the needy in various parts of the country.
Some of the companies took part in the tournament include Tracker, RSC steel, Victoria Hotel’ Robin Pope safari, Game Heaven, Mepal Leaf, General Smith and Suncreast creameries.
